Our Vestry
The Vestry is the governing body or board of directors of the parish. Its members are elected at the parish’s annual meeting for staggered three-year terms.
Vestry members wear a bright yellow name tag on Sunday mornings. Feel free to introduce yourself and ask them questions.
Vestry Meeting Minutes
The Vestry meets formally once a month on the third Sunday of the month after the 10am service. Everyone is invited to attend. Take a look at the minutes to learn more about what we’re doing at St. John. Click HERE to see the latest Vestry meeting minutes.
Thank you, Bruce Fontaine, for your years of service as Junior Warden!
Recently, the parish recognized out-going Junior Warden Bruce Fontaine for his years of service to St. John. The Junior Warden's responsibilities include, among other things, the care and oversight of the building and grounds. During his two years as Junior Warden, Bruce established an annual maintenance contract for our aging furnace, completed a comprehensive building condition survey, led the team who looked at the feasibility of our current building to host the emergency weather shelter, and oversaw both roof replacement projects. His knowledge and experience coupled with his patience and good humor made him a valuable leader and dedicated steward. Thank you, Bruce, for all you have done.
